Fantastic news from my students: Derecho is working! The current version has some amazing functionality: it should run at very large scale, at RDMA speeds, can automatically create complex groups with subgroups and automated sharing, is configurable as Paxos or atomic multicast on a subgroup by subgroup basis, and has a new way of presenting persistent memory that looks way better than any prior system.

The code is on github but we are still testing and writing documentation. Maybe a few days too early to use it. But just the same, Derecho is looking amazing. Thousands of times faster than anything else out there.
